We follow the ZVEI guideline, Technical Cleanliness in Electrical Engineering (Guideline, 2nd edition), where two possible cleaners are recommended. Dear Faizan, if you remain with manual solder cleaning two things are very important: 1. Clean the stencil immediately after use from both sides. If you experience that solder paste still remains in the small apertures like described then … 2. Use compressed air to blow out the remains We would not recommend any other approach as you might damage the stencil altogether If you regularly require to do stencil cleaning we recommend to use automated cleaning process. For small quantities a ultrasonic dip tank cleaning devise can easily do the job.
